Congratulations go to FIVE of our regular stall holders for gaining awards recently,in the Yorkshire Post’s Taste Awards:

Swillington Organic Farm won the Growers Category with their mixed organic salad bag;

Mike Tatersall’s Kulfi won the Readers’ Taste award .

Church View Eggs and B Whiteleys Farmshop and Nursery also won commendations in the same competition.

In the Yorkshire Life Food Competition, Burdass Lamb recently won producer of the year.

Well done to you all and thank you for keeping the standard of produce so high at Oakwood!

Main course of – Mini Rump Roast of Lamb from Burdass Lamb, with Vegetables from Whiteley’s and side salad from Swillington Organic Farm
Finish off with – Dessert of Mango Kulfi from Mike Tattersall
